The Muster is this Saturday, June 26. I cannot recall the thread that guys were discussing who was going, but if the weather is nice I'll be attending, if approval is still granted by the boss.

Look for the guys and gals in youngstownfire.com or Youngstown shirts. Barb, Paul, and I will have a table selling firefighting toys there.

It is at the State Fire Academy, 8895 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068-3340. You can't miss it. Pull onto the academy grounds, park where the nice people tell you to and follow the crowds to the fire trucks and vendors. Oh yeah, buy something off of the youngstownfire.com people too. :)

You can check out http://www.coafaa.org/ for more information including a flyer for the event and see pics of previous years musters.

I am going to try my best to be there. Maybe I should ask my dad to drive so my son and I can nap on the way down. I fly into Cleveland from SFO at 8 pm the night before...

yfdgricker and others, it was nice meeting you and putting faces with the names. This was my first muster and definately will not be the last.

It was a good day. I stayed for a little while, then went home. Got pretty hot out there. I was home for about an hour and a half..and went to a 2 alarm fire on the north side of Columbus.

Time for lunch and a sit down with Brats & Grilled onions and the famous Cheddar Burger. We were also treated to multiple flyovers of a Boeing B-17, Liberty Belle

OK, 2 of these were not shot at the muster. We're Good, but not that Good. I shot this B-17 at the 2005 edition of Thunder Over Michigan. At that show there were 9 B-17's that were flying!!

OK, after lunch the clouds cleared away and we were able to photograph some of the motorized pieces. I wish we could have towed the hand & horse drawn stuff over to this spot to photograph them!
