I wonder why Box 2565 didn't weigh in earlier in our discussion Oh well, at least we're pretty sure now of the year now.
Because Box 2565 is getting old and had no memory of that photo...

I have no information on this pair of GMC's other than the first
is identified as a 1920 GMC and the other is a 1927 GMC. Written
in pencil on the back is Portland,Ore.

Two more Pirsch factory photos. The first is discribed as a
1922 Winther / Pirsch triple combination, and the second
is a 1923 Reo / Pirsch chemical / hose wagon.

Bemidji, Minnesota 1923 Winther 4x4 600 GPM - 50 Gallon Chemical Tank
Frewsburg Fire Co. - Frewsburg, New York 1925 Reo Hose Car with Two 40 Gallon Tanks. This rig was constructed so that a pump could be mounted under the seat. And I found this interesting: 2-Red and Green torches on the rear standards.

I would describe the Portland rig, but the folder with that information is MIA.

The late John Schmidt and I ran across this 1936 Diamond T / Pirsch
Jounior aerial back in Oct. 1990. It was in a rural area somewhere
in the "wilds" of Pennsylvania. It had served at Lewistown,Pa. and sure
would have been impressive in it's day.

I just scanned this slide this morning, not knowing that Steve
had posted it. But it is nice enough to see twice. If you look
close, back in the tall grass, I think you can see Punxsutawney
Phil munching lunch, not to mention the 700 series ALF coming
down the street to have it's portrait taken.

Another great photo of this rig. I may be mistaken, but I believe Phil goes out after lunch and practices shadow watching...

Do you happen to have a photo of the 700 Series? If so is it posted?
