Here are the pics. They're not the greatest quality, but I was afraid to scan them too high. I'm going to try to attach them all to this post. Wish me luck. :)

I know more than these 4 developed correctly. When I find them I'll post them. This is not a fire truck, but she was a part of the station at 4th & Girard. Can't leave her out. FF Kelly of R1, E29 and M13.

This photo (which I copied from eBay) has a description attached indicating that this run with the horses took place on May 29, 1941. The steamer is headed down Chestnut Street toward Independence Hall (the box number there is 1776)! Oat power was used in this demonstration as a part of "Fire Defense Week".

Early on in this thread, somebody posted some not-so-good photos from back around 1991, when Philadelphia had just organized Rescue 1 and was temporarily operating as a two-piece company. Here are some good photos if anyone is interested.

First, the 1979 American La France pumper which was converted as a collapse truck...

...and the second piece, a 1979 Ford/Hesse beverage truck which was donated by the Coca-Cola Company.

This 1971 Oshosh/Pierce/Pitman was operated by Snorkel 5. If you look closely, you can see the compartment doors rotted at the bottoms in this 1990 photo. This truck was refurbed in 1995 with a new Pierce cab and body, still in service today (seen earlier in this thread as the subject of an awesome Phil/Las photo).

There are two Chevrolet brush fire units (referred to here as "Grass Firefighters") stationed at opposite ends of the city, 1982 and 1988 models respectively.

Field Com 1 once ran a 1974 Ford/Gerstenslager. It was replaced by a 1995 Freightliner former medic unit which was converted for that purpose.
