Bruco,
New question for you. I was just looking at Retired Apparatus on the Upper Montgomery VFD site. They ran a Dodge 4x4 brush Engine 145 in the mid 60's-early 70's. You have any details on that?

That was a 1970 Dodge W-500 4X4/AMERICAN 300GPM/?GAL.; 1973 roster lists as E-145, 1976 roster lists as BR145. 1984 roster has 1977 Chevy P/U and 1978 Jeep brush units for CO.14, so the 1970 Dodge was probably short-lived. Probably too small to function as an engine, and too big for a brush, especially where 14 runs.
Attached photo is only one I've ever seen, no idea what its disposition was.

Bruco, what was the source of the Medic 2 photo? Wish I could find it in color. Was never aware of it being involved in an accident. Any more details? Speaking of accidents, Kensington's Seagrave Sedan Cab squad. I've seen it listed as 1958/1949 (Floyd) and 1950 (Madderom). Can you clarify that, and tell me if the accident and subsequent rebuild was before or after it was sold to Burtonsville? Thanks again!

Medic 2 pic from an ambulance calendar put out by the aforementioned Steve Lichtman back in 1999, this was all pics of old/new ambos from around Maryland.
Kensington RS5 had 3 different looks in its 20 years at KVFD, it was delivered in 1950 with the then standard Seagrave cab with the "waterfall" grille.
In 1958, the 1950 rescue body was put on a new Seagrave Anniversary chassis/cab, most likely because of a wreck.
Sometime between 1964 and 1970, the front end on the 1958 chassis was rebuilt to the double-headlight style.
KVFD info from the late Rusty Gill

1. 1950 delivery photo
2. 6/1964 photo
3. 196? photo after double headlights added

Boat support 710 is indeed a 2015 Ford, no idea on body builder.

1955 Dodge PW/Oren for Cabin John, originally at STA10, later E305, replaced in 1973 by Ford pickup brush.

Hyattstown had a 1964 GMC/Howe 750/1000 and a 1970 GMC/American, the 64 had a plain pump panel and a high hose body. The 1970 had a lower hose body and the pump panel was stainless steel with treadplate wrapping around the jump seats. The 1964 was replaced around 1986, the 1970 hung on until 1992 when E92, the KME engine-tanker was delivered.

I have no record of Kensington running any Mack other than the well-known 1970 Mack CF/Swab, which hung around until 1992.

Just practicing good research with the sources available, sorry to say that between having a full-time job and dealing with 3 invalids in the family..., digitizing my collection is a long time off.
Which of Floyd's pics are you referring to? John never took any slides himself, although at one time he had a modest collection of slides acquired from others. IDK if any of them were digitized before he sold them all off.

The Summit enthusiast on here may be interested that this 1996 FORD F/Summit Brush was removed from service in 2015, but due to its low mileage (less than 25K), was repurposed into another role in the county fire dept.
