You're 1914 ALF, depending upon several things such as pump capacity (250 gallon per discharge gate) and the size of the motor (4 cyl. or 6 cyl)
could be: a Type 10 which was an improved version of the Type 5 (4 cyl.) or a Type 12, 800. 900, 1,000 G.P.M. pumper or a Type 15, a 1,400 G.P:.M. pumper and Hose car. Match yours to the foregoing and you'll be close.

KFD has acquired this 1995 E1 Sentry pumper from Fogelsville,PA.; and reacquired their former 1957 Jeep/Darley mini pumper-brush.
The 1960 ALF 900 series engine and the 1982 Chevy C/RSI tanker will be sold.

In a happier time for KFD, here is the 1914 ALF and 1974 ALF Pioneer parading in Frostburg, 8/1978, in the Cumberland Valley VFFA convention.

Still with KFD as are their 1932 and 47 ALFS, if the 1960 is sold it would make a nice antique.
Somewhere on facebook is a vid of the 1914 recreating the 100th anniv. of its 1st call back in the winter.

That's how the 1960 looked when it was first delivered to Keyser, it didn't get the Witten top until the 1970s.

KFD past chief, 70 yr. active member, and KFD legend Robert "Bob" Dorsey passed away at the age of 98. He joined in 1941 at the age of 21, and was active until age 91. He was also a WW2 vet, former Keyser police chief, and Mineral Co. sheriff, as well as serving as a court official.
In August of this year, KFD and other area FDs organized a tribute and apparatus parade in his honor.

In this 1947 newspaper photo, Mr. Dorsey, who was 6'4" is in the middle of the bottom photo.

To add to this story, the WVA Legislature passed a resolution recently that designates WVRT46 that passes in front of KFD STA1 as "Chief Robert Edward Dorsey MEM. HWY."
This is the 2nd instance of this honor in the region, last year Main St. in Fayetteville,PA was renamed in honor of legendary Chief James Cutchall, murdered in LOD in July, 1977.
