Former Engine 8

This firehouse dates back to 1918 at the intersection of Bagley and 6th Street in the heart of Detroit’s Corktown neighborhood. The company relocated to the former quarters of Ladder 12 on West Lafayette when that company was disbanded in 1982.

The firehouse was last occupied as a law office with the interior extensively remodeled.
