If one looks at the bottom of the ALF database, there are 6 pdf files that explain abbreviations, serial numbers, and types. Easily printed for future reference.

Hi guys- Been quite busy for quite some time & haven't posted for awhile-
Here is some 400 fun...

On a different topic, my sign business is really taking off. I am doing vinyl goldleaf. Looks great & is 20% the cost of hand applied. I will attach a photo of an ALF scroll I did. The photo doesn't do justice.

I just thought it would be easier posting a link for photos then posting all the photos- Here is a bunch of shots of my 400

I have to chuckle when someone suggests I bring the truck down for a quick parade or activity. They don't understand alot...
-It takes 4 hours to wash the truck, not including wax
-It take $50 worth of gas to go 15 miles or so
-I run octane booster, another $15
-I run lead additive, another $15
-I run Seaform, another $15 (everything needs seafoam)
-It requires 3 people, Driver, tiller & spotter. Tiller is the one job everyone wants, but no one "gets". There is alot more then just sitting looking cool
-To back it in requires 3 people plus a farm tractor. I have a small shop with no room for error. I get it almost in the door & shut it off, then pull it in super slow with a tractor.
-Because I have not performed a restoration, there is always something wrong. A fouled plug, a blown fuse, a radiator leak, it is a full time job, (not that I'm complaining)
At $100 per parade, I have to budget. I live in the middle of nowhere, and no parades are close!
Factor in 3 kids, a full time & part time job, and a wife... you get the idea!
