Adams, Massachusetts operated this chemical & hose combination. The body looks like it could easily have been built by a "real" apparatus builder, but who? I sure wouldn't want to get the ground ladders down from this one!

This badge is a real gem. It was made for the Chief of the Astoria F.D. Could this have been in Queens before FDNY came into the picture?That's cool I am sitting in Astoria on my honeymoon, we are staying a few blocks down from E-262/L-117. With the way the different parts of Queens seem to have tried to keep their distintive IDs I would say this is most likely a pre-FDNY badge.
