Here's my "new" badge that came with the promotion to Lt. this past Dec.

I came across a 1941 issue of the Darley Catalog at the station. I took and scanned some of it. One of the pages of interest was this page of badges.

Sandisfield, MA - Shortly before 1:00 p.m. on January 27, Sandisfield Emergency personnel were dispatched to a report of a logger with two broken legs in the woods off Silverbrook Road.

The victim was brought out of the woods to the Otis Rescue Squad Ambulance, who in turn transported the patient to the landing zone at the Sandisfield Town Garage. The Lifestar Helicopter based out of Hartford Hospital landed at 1:17 p.m. and transported the injured logger to an area trauma center.

Mutual aid was provided by Otis, Tolland, & New Marlborough.
