3 Badges given to me by former Chief H.R. "Bud" Stiles 2 New Marlborough wallet badges and a Southfield Drivers Badge. Southfield is one the 5 villages in the Town of New Marlborough and the location of the Turner and Cook Buggy Whip Factory from which the Fire Co came from.

I will ask around about the company, in the mean time here's a photo of another IH/Dakota that had severed the very small town of New Ashford, MA when I took this photo in 2002 it was for sale, and I think it has been since sold.

Medical Helicopters and Firefighting Aircraft / Lifestar called into Sandisfield MA for injured logger.

Sandisfield, MA - Shortly before 1:00 p.m. on January 27, Sandisfield Emergency personnel were dispatched to a report of a logger with two broken legs in the woods off Silverbrook Road.

The victim was brought out of the woods to the Otis Rescue Squad Ambulance, who in turn transported the patient to the landing zone at the Sandisfield Town Garage. The Lifestar Helicopter based out of Hartford Hospital landed at 1:17 p.m. and transported the injured logger to an area trauma center.

Mutual aid was provided by Otis, Tolland, & New Marlborough.
