Well, this one wasn't done in Microsoft Paint but it is a line drawing of a fire truck. A Sutphen Midmount aerial identical to the one Youngstown purchased.

Couple more of the Pittsfield, MA 3 alarmer, the most of the original photos were slightly blured, probably from me shaking from the cold. So they are fun to play with in Photoshop.

When I was a teenager, I liked to pick up a sketch pad now and again. I took a few art classes in college (as electives) but never pursued anything serious. I don't have time anymore. They can't compare to any of the other pics here but here are a couple of pencil drawings I did years ago. Not sure how they will come out, they might be pretty light.

The first is my Dads 1961 Maxim "S" I did it in 1995.

Here is another that was unfinished. It is REALLY light and was in the sketch phase. Shows my gear hanging on the side of my favorite all time rig - a 1969 Maxim "F" that is now serving East Conway, NH. She was a beauty.

This was a drawing I did in 1991 of our (then) new brushbreaker. The real photo can be seen under the "Odd and Unusual rigs". Its the first photo I posted under brushbreakers.

I did this one of our 1986 E-One Hurricane aerial from Wareham, MA. This one went unfinished. I guess I just didn't have the patience to stick with them. I know they're kind of light being in pencil and all..

Last one is a general drawing. I took the front of my station at the time and made it from a space metal building into "brick". We also never ran two engines out of it, nor was it called Tremont. but rather it was in that section of town. But thats the beauty of doing your own thing on paper I guess.

Here is the PNG of Scranton Fire Co., of Hambrg NY Engines 1 & 2, Built By Crimson. These drawings were made before the bids were awarded, based on the written specs. I also have drawings with other mfg's cabs, that also bid. The final product looks almost identical to the drawing!
