G'day to everyone from down here in sunny South Eastern Australia.
I'm a career firefighter (Station Officer, in charge of a platoon....not sure what the equivalent US rank is....), stationed down on the Mornington Peninsula, about 85 km (50 miles) SE of Melbourne, capital city of the state of Victoria. We're just leaving our annual fire season and heading for the cooler temps of Winter (June/July/August), which means the big Sikorskys and LATs will shortly be departing from our region and heading back in preparation for your coming warmer weather. I look forward to checking out some of your pics, maybe sending a few of ours back over the pond.
Cheers, Mark.

Thanks. I'm always fascinated by the differences and similarities between our 2 countries. Mark.
