Title: 5 Alarm Fire in Keasby (Woodbridge, NJ), FDNY + 3 other fireboats + tankers!
Post by: johnmocha on April 28, 2014, 04:12:49 PM
I thought I'd share this great video of the fire in the Keasby Section of Woodbridge, NJ this past Saturday.  There was truly an amazing assortment of apparatus working the large industrial fire - FDNY Marine 9, numerous tankers from Middlesex, Somerset and Monmouth Counties, the Neptune System from Elizabeth and plenty of regular old mutual aid.  Keasby's TL 44 is a recently re-rehabbed FDNY 75' single axle Aerialscope.  This truck continues to get quite a workout at numerous structure fires in Central NJ.   In addition, to FDNY Marine 9 (Firefighter II), fireboats from Newark, Jersey City and Perth Amboy joined in the fight.  At about 14:05 a small fireboat (I believe Perth Amboy's) is guiding Marine 9 down the Raritan River underneath the Garden State Parkway, US 1/9 Bridge to the fire.  Great video by Homer218!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SDJv7ctvsY

Incredible video John. Thanks for sharing. A bit of everything in there... water shuttles, aerial operations, exterior attack, fireboats... good stuff!
