Jan. 10, 2013:

"DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Firefighters responded to a five-alarm blaze at an apartment complex in Dallas early Thursday morning. The flames first broke out around 7:00 a.m. and burned 24 units at the Courtney Place Apartments, located in the 3200 block of Chapel Creek Drive.

Despite the severity of the fire and smoke, there were no reports of injuries to either residents or firefighters. Many people were evacuated from the apartment complex and other nearby apartment buildings. Those onlookers then watched as fire crews worked to extinguish the flames with the use of ladder trucks. Hundreds of local residents stood around the scene, but there was little-to-no panic."
