Here's the info on the Shelby tanker:

Engine 4, Shelby, OH
1978 Century
1500/2000
#6181

The bodywork on the unidentified tanker is Saulsbury, not ALF.  I'm not sure how many tankers Saulsbury built on Century chassis, but this one isn't the one from Walnutport, PA.

Thanks!  Saulsbury rig removed.  The one from Walnutport was white.

They did.  It ran as Engine 4.  I have a shot, but it wasn't a good one.

There's another Century with the small jumpseat window.  I'll be posting another one from West Virginia tomorrow.

I believe I know which one you're referring to.  Run by Tygart Valley VFC?  Shes silver over blue.  I've seen pictures of her, she's curiously outwardly spec'd almost just like 33-15 is, air intake mounted perpenticular to the centreline of the rig, massive monitor (though I've seen them on a number of Centuries), recessed portside intake, small jumpseat windows, possibly originally had a Solar Ray lightbar (now with a massive hideous Code 3 Excalibur).  The only differences I have seen in the picture I know of is the bumper configuration and a deeper hosebed/possibly a larger tank.

I believe this may be one of the "Interstate Special" Century engines that were built on a collaborative design (design phase started in the summer of 1982 and construction of the rigs I think began in late 1983/early 1984) of the fire departments of Dallas, TX, Shreveport, LA, Oklahoma City, OK, Wichita, KS, Fort Worth, TX, and Kansas City, MO.  They met in Oklahoma City with reps from fourteen aparatus manufacturers and the design was finalised and awarded ALF 18 custom engines (which three more were added since the original order).  The contract stated that they'd be given a discount for this mass order (a price of $115,000-as opposed to $135,000 for a single identical unit) and the contract winner would commit to delivering 40 of these engines to those six cities in 12 months, which was opened up to ALF customers in August 1983 at the same price rate.  The base model was priced at that discount, and 13 different options were offered, including a foam system.  The offer stood until 1 December 1983.  I'm not sure exactly how many were actually built once ALF released the offer to other fire departments.  But Tygart Valley VFC's might be one.
