Randolph Twp. in the 1980's

Randolph Twp was located in the NW corner of Montgomery County. At one time they were an all volunteer department and they operated from 5 fire stations that were numbered 1 thru 5. Station 1 was in Union, Sta. 2 was in Englewood, Sta. 3 & Sta. 5 were out in the unincorporated portions of the twp. and Sta. 4 was in CLayton. After a bitter political fight, the township was divided up between the City of Clayton, the City of Englewood, and the Village of Union. Union is now # 81. Englewood has 2 new stations, 98 & 99, that replaced the 1 they had. Clayton has the remaining three, 83-84-85. Here is what Box 2565 & myself photographed and posted in order of ascending ages.

The Sutphen delivery list shows 4 of these rigs delivered to Randolph Twp. They carried registration #'s HS 536 thru HS 539. We photographed two of them at different times. Since we could never find any tags on these rigs, we were never sure what the actual serial # for these were. The other is in the following post.

This rig was in service until it was replaced in 2006. I wish that I had returned and tried to get some more photos of it
Especially since it was the only Hamerly that was ever sold in our area that I can recall.

Once the township was devided, what happened to the apparatus? Was it sold or was it also devided up between Clayton, Englewood and Union?
