Newmanstown, PA operated this 750/200 Seagrave Safety Sedan as a hose wagon when I photographed it several years ago. It carried two large beds of 5" LDH.

Mt. Holly Springs, PA, Cumberland County Co. 36 ran this 1957 Seagrave aerial. This truck had an 85' ladder. This was the first ladder truck used by the department. The ladder truck came from Yaden, Pa. The unit was purchased by the VFW #7343 for the fire department. It was replaced in 1984 by an Ex FDNY 1974 Seagrave Ladder.

Most snorkels that were built on Seagrave chassis had Pierce bodies. This unit was constructed with a body fabricated by Seagrave.

Athens OH Ladder 1
1967 Seagrave
85' Aerial
Serial #Q 4323 Model: 800 KT 85 4
Steve Hagy photo.
This apparatus is unusual in that by 1967 virtually all tillered aerials being built were 100' models. The Athens F.D. also purchased a Seagrave engine (#Q 4322) at the same time as this piece.
