One of my all-time favorites!
Rockwood VFD,Somerset Co.,PA.
1973 ALF 1000 series 1500/1250, after 1993 rebuild by 4-Guys water tank reduced to 1100 gal.
Now owned by collector in Carlisle,PA area.

Oooo, nice truck!  I'd love to see her in person! I especially enjoy the photo of her and the Chessie System Special! Best of both worlds for fire buffs and railfans!

My sentiments exactly. Anyone know how many 1000's were made? And if possible a delivery list.

I remember the Rahwah pumper, when new, being on the cover of ALF 1000 Series sales brochure.
