1968 Hahn 1000 GPM Pumper, Lakeland, FL
Original power was a  6 Cyl. Gasoline Engine with a 5 speed Manual tranny.  Was repowered around 1995 with a 350 HP Cummins Engine and an Allison trans.  City of Lakeland sold it 2 years later for $3,000 dollars!  Your tax dollars hard at work, somebody got a deal on this old engine

Thanks for posting this photo.  Dick was a great source for apparatus history.  Plus, I like the rare old Texaco sign ;)

Thanks to Box 2565 for scanning this old photo.  I shot this rig when I was at the National Fire Academey in 1986.  Sometimes after class or on the weekends I'd go out to some of the area FD's to visit & shoot.  As I recall everyone was very nice in that area.  Man, I think it's time for a road trip to the vicinity of Gettysburg, PA :)

Just acquired these photos and they show a US Marine and his son at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.  Also pictured is a US Navy 40s era Hahn, with "Butterfly Grill" carrying USN reg 156103.  The Hahn appears to be equipped with a 2 bottle CO2 system along with a 500-750 gpm pump.  Granted, not a great picture of the Hahn, but is does document for both Hahn and military fire apparatus buffs the trucks existence.  Additional pics/info on the truck would be most appreciated.

The Bisslleville Muster Team sports this 1932 Hahn pumper that one of their members restored for their use. There is no such place as Bisslleville, the team is named for Israel Bissell who is buried in Hinsdale, MA where most of the team hails from.

Link on Mr. Bissell:

Kinda makes Paul Revere look like a slacker huh?

Who made the chassis on that Westmont quad?  To me, it kind of looks like an International Harvester, but I may be wrong.
