It should be interesting to see how long they last with the never ending and ever increasing amount of Shoe Runs they get slammed with every day.
I am betting that they will last longer than the Kodiacs, but not as long as the Freightliners

From what I have been told the department likes them. They said they have a better turning radius than the Fords. We'll see what happens.

Five new GMC Horton medic units were placed into service on November 19th and 20th at MEDIC 2,5,10,23,and 25.

Medics 43R, and 44R in the back of Pipeline 28's station a while back. Medic 47R in the back of Squrt 8's station around the same time.

The 2008 GMC/Horton of Medic 5 is unique to the city with its red wheels and number on the grill.
