Here's an opposite view of the same truck, taken by Dick Adelman at a conference in Cleveland, OH on 7/10/92. As you can see it had hinged doors on one side and rollups on the other. Having never been sold, I believe this is the one that is still part of the ALF collection. I saw it on a plant visit in 1999.

No, I'm pretty sure that's a 1993 American LaFrance. I love the new body style on those American Ford LaFrance engines!The ironic thing is that the department photographed (North Collins) had a Patriot. North Collins is about 30 miles from Williamsville.

The Patriot pictured from Schuylkill Haven was destroyed in a fire in the company's engine room on 9/12/2007. The carcass of the rig is now sitting in a surplus vehicle storage area off Interstate 81 north of Harrisburg, PA.
