Seneca Falls was the center of the American fire apparatus manufacturing industry during much of the late 1800's.  The town is also noteworthy for being the birthplace of the women's rights movement in the United States and as the inspiration for the town of Bedford Falls in the movie "It's a Wonderful Life".

The Impel is the base model, the Velocity is the premium model.  With the Velocity, you get a heavier frame, choice of larger engine, transmission, higher pump capacity, etc.  Many extra-cost options on the Impel are standard equipment on the Velocity.
