Frankfurt/Main bought in 1966 three of these huge Magirus Deutz F 200 D 16 A RW-3-St. rescuetrucks.
This come into service on Station 6 in the southern part of Frankfurt not far away from the airport.

After the service in Frankfurt all three was sold to VFD in the Frankfurt area.
One the Liederbach(shown),Dietzenbach and Rodgau.

Little overfiew over the parkinglot with the old Magirus Deutz "Eckhauber" meeting in 2007.
Nearly 70 of these vintage appliances come together from Germany,Holland,France and Switzerland.

Laddertyp is a DLK-23/12 GL CS

Here are both new Ladders from the Frankfurt Airport Fire Department.
Both delivered in August 2008.
Chassis are Mercedes Benz ECONIC 1833 NLe.
