Fire Leaves Two Families Homeless
Story from the WKBN TV 27 Web Site on 9/18/2006.
Fire officials in Mercer County are looking for the cause of a blaze that left two families homeless.
Crews were called to Glenn Avenue in Salem Township Saturday after flames ripped through a duplex.
The fire started on the left side of it -- where a family of five lived. They were not home when the blaze started.
A couple living in the other part of the duplex was able to escape the fire. The State Fire Marshall is investigating, and the duplex is considered a total loss.
