Here's a couple of boxes found just driving around southern Ohio. The first pic was discovered by my four year old in a home owner's driveway in Hillsboro, Ohio.  The second picture is of a box on a small Vol. Fire Department in northwest Scioto County in southern Ohio.

This city is headed for a disaster of biblical proportions!
What do you mean "biblical"?
What he means is Old Testament, Mr. Mayor. Real wrath of God type stuff! Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness, earthquakes, and volcanos! The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifices, dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria!

This is Newark, NJ Box 2137 at Broad & Lombardy Sts, probably the only street box left in the city.

This is during the 6/6/2010 Newark Fire Dept Historical Assn muster. Mack B pumper is restored from an industrial brigade (Western Electric, Kearny, NJ) but of same appearance as four 1962 Macks that were assigned to Engine Cos. 4, 7, 17, 18.

Looks like the Chief is out checking boxes.  No idea where these are from, the buggy is lettered _PFD.  Interesting style of pedestals.

I found these pictures on shorpy.com and they looked interesting. They both appear to be Washington DC pedestals....well....one was a pedestal. If you go to the website, you can see the larger picture and everything is in great detail.
