This pole mounted box at Exchange ' Williams Streets in New York has a message attached to the front indicating that the box is out of service. Can anyone identify the YFD BB member in the photo?

In the old days, it was common for gasoline stations to carry multiple brands so that you could drive to one location and choose the gasoline you wanted to purchase. This station was probably located somewhere in Pennsylvania when this photo was taken in the 1920's.
At "The Best Garage" (We Never Close) you can choose from Tydol, Texaco, Sunoco, Sinclair, Esso, and Atlantic! A busy place from the looks of it with a local ball team hanging out by the entrance and that Gamewell Excelsior alarm box on the utility pole..... (Look to the left of the 7 on the sign that says "7 gallons for $1.25").

You have to take a close look, but there is a box in this photo! From the shape that can be seen I'm leaning towards this being an Excelsior. This picture was taken on July 27, 1957 in the northern California town of Westwood. When you look at the towns on the lists of cities with Gamewell systems there are some pretty small places.
