Box 2565 & I were back in Dallas for the 2011 SPAAMFAA Winter Meeting!  The weather was not very cooperative, but it cleared enough at times for us to get some nice photos 8)

Since we lasted visited Dallas, the DFD added Station 40.  In the old days Dallas had no stations that ended in 0.  Station 50 will be the next one & maybe it will be ready for our next visit.  The next post is E-33 and they were building their replacement station the last time we were here.

I believe that it had something to do with the telegraph system for the alarm office.  The salient details escape me for now.

To tap a "0" on the telegraph you actually need to tap a "10".  Rather than do that Dallas elected to skip company and box numbers with a zero in them.
