Taunton, MA ran Lime Green apparatus from approximately the early 70s to very recently. With the purchase of the new Ladder 2 in 2001, the color scheme has switched to White over red. Here is a picture of Taunton Snorkel 1, a 1995 E-One 85' Snorkel....lots of lime green!

Newton, MA still runs a few units in the old "Lime" color scheme. They have bought all new units and refurbed a few older ones in White ove Red.

Lime yellow or Lime green, it sure is ugly. Most fd's here have done away with that color. Madison twp fire just switched to black over red. Gotta love the old days, riding on green trucks
