Hanover Twp., PA Working Job

On Thursday 1/21 @ approx. 17:00 hrs. Hanover Twp. Units were dispatched to a reported strucutre fire on Strand. St. w/entrapment on the 3rd floor. Lt. 4 was first arriving and reported hvy fire showing and a male yelling for help from the 3rd floor window. A passer-by happened to have an extension ladder on his vehicle and stopped to help. Himself and firefighters that arrived before the apparatus threw the ladder to the 3rd floor window and the entrapped male came down uninjured. Another passerby also stopped to help and ran in the back side to rescue an elderly female who was trapped. She was taken to the hosp. w/ smoke inhilation. The fire was out about 4 hrs. later and this box was 2 alarms. Here are some pics from the aftermath that I took today Sat. 1/24. I am working on some fire pics from thurs. I will post them if I get a whole of them.

Here is the rear of the structure. The third floor apartment is completely gone. Remeber a male was rescued from this floor and a female was  rescued from the 2nd floor apartment on the right side.
