From 10am - 3pm

There will be a fire equipment display from Mahoning County outside of the grandstands. Stat Medi-vac is also scheduled for 10am - 12pm (weather permitting).

I went out this morning and took some photos, which I will post on Monday or Tuesday. They had almost a dozen rigs and Stat MedEvac 14, the medical helo. Canfield had 4 or 5 rigs there as well as Green Twp., Ellswort Twp., Coittsville, Sebring, Damascus, and Beaver Twp. Not a bad showing for a first time event.

Its actually not a first time event .. they do it in one form or another every year ... I took pics out there as well .. funny, I didn't see you out there Joe ...

Surely we can share in the duties. I have the photos developed, but my scanner is at school and I am home. It won't be until Mon-Tues. that I can scan them. Post away, Ron, and I will pick up the slack. I have some good photos of Stat Medevac taking off which I can post in case you didn't get any photos of that! :-)

I was there from 1115 until 1330... what time where you there?

They have been doing this for the last 6-7 years that I can remember. It started with just a display if ladder truck but has grown in the last 2-3 years. L-24 was there the first 2 years also with Campbell Canfield, and Austintown's Ladders the first couple of years. They also did it 2 days at least one or 2 times.

Great shots Ron! I will post mine tomorrow or Tuesday. One thing... your second Canfield photo, of the engine is actually Green Twp's Eng 217. That engine was delivered only 3 days before this event on the 26th of August!
