OK everyone, got any additional info on any of these pics? Just make sure to mention the photo number in your post so we know which one your are talking about.

Special thanks to Bob Lloyd (WF33RET) for sharing those with us!

pic no 7 showing sta 3 should read 1889 and the second bay logically was added on or near the date of the 1906 steamer's addition to that station

rig ordered in 1917 was for sta 11 specifically because the 1914 nott hose wagon  pooped out after only 3 years' service.
dolly 9 was serving  as a substitute at 11's prior to the arrival of the 1917 alf.

I checked the newspaper articles I have on file and both Station 4 and Station 11 closed on March 29, 1972.

whether or not this rig was numbered 7 at the time of its factory photo i am unable to discern from the photo but a Fire Underwriter's report in the year 1921 indicated that a 1921 alf delivery was at sta 5 initially not sta 7. a later Fire Underwriter's report shows that a 1922 alf went to sta 5 and the 1921 to sta 7.

this mack L was 750 gpm
its companion at sta 4 was 1000 gpm because 4's was considered to be in or near the high value district whereas 5's wasn't so it got only a 750 gpm...remember there was no   sta  no 1 at this time in 1948 so outlying stations at 3 on belmont and 4 on falls were acting in lieu of a no 1 station
