Round Number 2!

Isn't everyone excited about Round Two of closings?!   I can't wait for my nearest fire protection to be most likely 6 minutes away. I guess everyone might notice that I am a little bitter about the closing of Engine 7 and Engine 15. It's fun to think that if Mayor McIdiot's house on Tod Lane were to burn down, it would take Engine's 12 and 3 over 5 minutes to get here. hope his dog got out okay! (Watch, now his house will really burn and I will become the main suspect! It wasn't me, I swear!) Now, when does Round Two start? Is it today? I know it is soon.  I love how we can't afford to pay our firefighters, but city council chambers were jsut renovated. (Now, I know that money was secured about 5 years ago, but, McKelvey did nothing to put money away for a rainy day like we currently have!) Ok, I will stop complaining about this situation. Also, I'm guessing that one of the two stations will be a priority to keep open. I am guessing it will be 7. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes Mayor McCheese is still my neighbor (at least when I'm home, unless he is following me. It often seems he has nothing better to do...). I accpected enough petitions to place myself on the primary ballot for 3rd Ward Council, Democrat, until I realized that you have to be 25 to run for office in the city of Youngstown. What jamoke thought that one up, I have no idea... so alas, I cannot run for office. Maybe in 4 years...
