That sounds good. I was up in Youngstown for a buffing trip recently. I thought it would be good if the apparatus had federal Q sirens. I liked the open cab Pierce engines. A Quint would be a good addition to the fleet.

Jim, did you get any photos that we can post here, or perhaps that Greg can put into the Gallery?

If you are going to buy an 85 footer, why not get the 100 footer. Its a waste of money for 10 extra feet, and not have the whole 100. :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: Wouldn't a Snozzle make more sense in Youngstown anyway?

I saw SQ-33 responding the other day and they do not have a Fed. 'Q' on the truck that I could see and all I heard was the Electronic siren.

If Youngstown is looking for an 85' quint... I don't believe Pierce makes an 85' ladder. They do make 85' in the platform and it is just as long as a 100 or 105'. I thought that Y-town liked the quint because it could get into a tight area that the other ladders couldn't. Pierce does make a nice 75' Medium Duty rearmount single axle. Detroit just got one. Pierce also makes a nice 60 and 55' Skyboom model that is as short as a pumper and is single axle. Whatever it will be, sure would be nice to see more Pierce in Y-town
