New Board Ranks...

I made some adjustments to the various ranks on the youngstownfire.com message boards.

The following is the new number of posts for each ranking...

phpBB Probie - 0 to 49
phpBB Firefighter - 50 to 149
phpBB Lieutenant - 150 to 349
phpBB Captain - 350 to 599
phpBB District Chief - 600 to 899
phpBB Battalion Chief - 900 to 1249
phpBB Assistant Chief - 1250 to 1649
phpBB Deputy Chief - 1650 and up
 
Hope that makes things a little more enjoyable!

Hey Chief,

Did you consult the Union when you made these arbitrary changes to our rank structure?
I can see some major litigation in the near future from the newly demoted in our ranks!  

Shame shame shame, not consulting the Union in such a major decision and not giving the Union any concessions.  See ya in arbitration or court!

BTW, do you know how much $$ the shop designation makes. I'm going to start calling you Bill Gates!

There are currently three other "special" ranks you might see on the boards. They are

phpBB Shop
phpBB 911 Center Operator
phpBB Chief  

These are special designations bestowed to people on the boards, for instance, tyfan29, WEFR15 and struthersboy all have helped me out tremendiously when we switched servers and forum software by reattaching countless posts. All three have been awarded the shop designation.

Being the YFD Guru that I am along with being the site webmaster, I have the Chief rank.

The 911 Alarm Center Operator icon is being reserved right now but I don't have any ideas for it just yet. I'm working on it.

There may be more that pop up from time to time and I'll try and make a note of them here!
