King Kong, 1933- either an American Lafrance or Seagrave, early teens
The Woman in Red- 1984 with Gene Wilder and Kelly LeBrock
The Milkman, 1950- An early teens Seagrave Gorham, probably ex-LA, the world's first centrifugal pumpers, prior to these everything was piston or rotary gear, Goreham built the pumps for Seagrave who developed the rotary vane primer. Not many around when they were new and only one or two left now! Note the rear mount pump (there is nothing new in the world). Almost all built were this configuration, straight pumpers. A handful had a hose box on top of and around the pump housing.
Hello Box 2565, I am interested in buying one of your Fire King lanterns - - are any of them for sale. I have looked for one for some time without effect - - saw one for sale for $125.00 that obviously fell from the apparatus and got really beat up - -it should not have been for sale.Another one I saw had a price tag of $500 - - and the globe was missing. So, I really am interested in buying a decent, authentic, Dietz Fire King lantern for a reasonable price based upon condition from someone that isn't out to s__w me. What say you?X Chief 1
