The Milkman, 1950- An early teens Seagrave Gorham, probably ex-LA, the world's first centrifugal pumpers, prior to these everything was piston or rotary gear, Goreham built the pumps for Seagrave who developed the rotary vane primer.  Not many around when they were new and only one or two left now!  Note the rear mount pump (there is nothing new in the world).  Almost all built were this configuration, straight pumpers.  A handful had a hose box on top of and around the pump housing.

Early teens vintage Seagrave.

900 series ALF.  With that load of wood ladders my guess would be that the movie was filmed in San Francisco.

Great shot of the Gorham!   The rig on the left look like a 1920's vintage Seagrave.  Really like the video captures!

25 hill

a movie by corbin bernstine about the soap box derby.

"Baruth International Raceway in Cleveland serves as a track in Sacramento, Calif., in the film, and Spring Hill Sports Complex in Green fills in for a Seattle race. A church in Taft is actually the Grandview United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Springfield Fire Department was used for some of the scenes involving the Taft fire department, and a hospital room is in Summa Western Reserve Hospital, formerly known as Cuyahoga Falls General. Thomas’ burial plot is in East Akron Cemetery. Trey’s home is actually in Silver Lake" from the akron beacon journal

Hello Box 2565,
I am interested in buying  one of your Fire King lanterns - - are any of them for sale.  I have looked for one for some time without effect - - saw one for sale for $125.00 that obviously fell from the apparatus and got really beat up - -it should not have been for sale.
Another one I saw had a price tag of $500 - - and the globe was missing.  So, I really am interested in buying a decent, authentic, Dietz Fire King lantern for a reasonable price based upon  condition from someone that isn't out to s__w me.
   What say you?
