Hi Guys,
I am aleady registered on the forum but didn't find this area till this morning. I live in Ft Wane In. Have spent 25 years in volunteer and paid fire service. Started in East eadow Long Island. Have lived in a number of differrent states with certification in fire fighter certification in five. Left the aid fire service to work at ALF back in 78-79 at Elmira. Have since worked for Car-mar, KME, Amerian Fire App (Ball Ground Ga.) Pierce, Pro-trac Engineering, Rescue Technologies (decatur In), Marque Ambulance, Mobile Medical, now am employed with Internatinal Truck & Engine. I still design appartatus for smaller manufactureres that don't have enginering staff in house. Currently have units in production for export to Nigeria, and have delivered apparatus to Bermuda. Been collecting Fire Dept memorabilia for probably 35 years now if not more. Enjoy building scale model fire stations in my spare time, and doing various fire apparatus illustrations and cartooning. Also collect fire apparatus nameplates. just Figured I'd say Hi
