Former Rsv Engine 23 (now RE22)

Asburn runs out of 2 stations, station 6 and 22. Station 23 used to be affiliated with Ashburn, now it is staffed with Loudoun County firefighters and is a county station since the opening of the newly built station 22.

Let me know the Ferrara serial number, and I'll confirm the year.

Any idea what's in the compartment forward of the pump (I assume it's transverse)?

When Washington Twp. purchased this rig it was used as a rescue truck.  It's been a while since I've seen this piece, but I think there are rescue tools in that compartment.  Next time I'm out that way I'll roll up the door...

According to the Department web page, I think this Company

The "Third Watch" FDNY Squad 55 is now running as Engine 5 with the Pelham Fire Department in Westchester County, NY. The pump on the unit is a 1500 gpm Waterous CSU, so that is not an FDNY spec.

Thanks for the offer, Steve. Time did not permit me to obtain all of the information when I took the photos. I will email the firefighter that allowed me access to the apparatus and see if I can obtain the serial number.
