Schoharie Fire Dept
   Schoharie County NY
Today the SFD held a parade to help celibrate the weekend long B-Day of the town and ended it today with a parade down Main St. and in a way of saying thank you, they invited all the Fire Depts that came to help a year ago when Irene dumped tons of rain in the county causing massive flooding, to join in the parade. Pics below are of there fleet as of today.

A question I had in prev. post has been answered....  The old pumper/hose tender Ford F800 and its replacement.....90's Pierce dash.  The unit looks a bit rough but since there station has been closed due to damage from last year funds to rehab the truck are on hold but once the new station is built the unit will get some tlc.
Last pic is of the old station which looks fine on the outside but its gutted on the inside but a new station is planned on the same site.  Couldnt get Fed. $ to fix it because its in a flood zone. Thats ok FEMA....They will show you that they can make a come back without your help...just as there towns ppl have!  Sorry  had to vent..lol
