I bet I just wrote the wrong year down after a long day.  I will change my post.  I wonder what happened to all the serial # tags.  Thanks for the info.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but the way I understand, Mack didn't usually put serial number tags on MC and MRs in usual places. I believe that they're typically under the cab.

They are usually located under the dashboard on the driver's side.

Aberdeen MD Fire Dept operates three Spartan/Saulsbury apparatus:
1992 Spartan/Saulsbury/15 ton JLG crane Heay Rescue Rescue 251
1998 Spartan/Saulsbury: 1500/1000/120; Engine 213
2000 Spartan/Saulsbury: 1500/1000/120; Engine 215

The old Tully, NY Saulsbury plant is in the background of the engine photos. The folks in Tully built some GREAT apparatus, too bad they still don't build them there today.

All photos are MINE; taken by ME; part of MY collection
