Hi Andrew,
Darley did not typically identify their apparatus with serial numbers until the 1990's or so. They now use a four digit seuential numbering system.
It's nice to see you posting all of the photos from North Carolina! I really like some of the regional builders from your area as I don't see them too often (Atlas, Anchor Richey, EEI). Keep 'em comming....
