2002 Dash 75'.
Equipment includes full ALS, hi-angle, extrication including air bags, struts & cribbing, basic truck and engine tools, full NFPA ground ladders, portable lighting, pos and neg vent fans, K12 and chain saw and water rescue gear.
Hose load is 1000' 5" LDH, 500' 1 3/4", 200' 2 1/2", 200' 3" and 200' 2" in a standpipe pack. Also has 30 gallons AFFF and 20 gallons class "A" foam with built in 125GPM eductor.
500HP Detroit with Allison automatic.
It serves as an engine co. and ALS unit in its first due area, and as a truck co and extrication unit in the rest of our district and other area districts.
This truck is unique as it has a Quantum aerial body on a Dash cab. It also has a single, double wide center compartment in place of the standard two center compartments. First in our area with traffic directing light ( Federal "Singnalmaster") mounted on the front ( standard rear mounted also).
This unit responds to just under 3000 runs per year.
