If ALF's rearmount is the Ladder Chief and their pre-piped aerial is the Water Chief, then what is this called?

As mentioned in the Century thread, Reply #16:  This model was called a Mid-Ship Aerial Quint

Does anyone have a registry of the Turbo Chief rigs and what happened to them?   The concept seems interesting and ahead of it's time, just maybe a bit too ahead of it's time..

Wytheville, VA 1978 ALF Century is now owned
by a private individual who is a large vehicle
collector/operator.  It has been to many events
in the past two years and is still looking good!
It is now in the eastern part of the state.

I have personally seen this apparatus in the flesh.

And, yes, he purchased it directly from the Fire
Department and drove it over 400 miles to its new
home!  Even the Centurys were better made than
the stuff today!

1984 American LaFrance Century Series 1250-500 Lake Palestine East, TX VFD (ex Dallas Engine 20)

Right Front View

Lindsay D
Richardson, TX

This is, without a doubt, an Interstate Special.  I've only been able to confirm Dallas owning 5, going to Engine Companies 4, 42, 48, 55 and 56.  Was this maybe originally assigned to one of these companies?  And do you have or can you get the serial number for this rig?
