Judging by the grille of Engine 8, I'd say you're right about it being a 2006.  If I knew how the cab was configured, I'd know almost for sure.  TP-6, juding by the grille, is probably a 2008 or newer...maybe a late 2007.  What exactly does "TP" stand for?  Both fit the bill to be a demo, if I knew how they were configured, especially the cab, engine and if there were any non-standard features, I'd be able to tell which one, if either, was a demo.

'TP' stands for Tanker/Pumper.  Considering Hinsdale's district is fully hydranted, I do believe they kept with the moniker as a throwback to the old days.  It's worthy to note that the circa 1990 Spartan chassis rig this truck replaced made headlines in 2006 after it slipped out of pump gear at a fire and drove into a house.
