These vehicles are being slowly replaced by Oshkosh T-3000's and T-1500's. These vehicles were the worst investment the US Government ever made. Their down time outweighs their effectiveness, and Teledyne has been out of business for years. So therefore we don't have the parts to fix them when they break. We have to gut one vehicle to fix another.
