The Bluewell F.D. certainly has an eye-catching item mounted over the apparatus bays of their station. This 1000 series American LaFrance cab is lettered for the B.F.D.

Hi Steve,
I wish I knew. There wasn't anyone around the station when I passed through Bluewell last September. My guess is that the rig this came from had been purchased used.
