Any one have photos of fire stations in other countries? When I come back from Ireland in December, I will have many to post. I already have shot three stations and about 15 apparatus. Can't wait to post them!

The same station in Singapore with what appear to be British made appliances lined up out front.

In 1998, Dublin Fire Brigade Headquarters moved from thier old quarters on Tara St. to one right next-door. This state-of-the-art station has 8 bays. Four of the doors open onto Townsend Street and 4 onto Pearse St., which is one block south of Townsend St. This station houses 2 engine companies, 2 ladder companies, 2 ambulances, 2 water tankers, a decontamination unit, several chiefs, including a district officer and the chief officer, as well as the fire inspection department. It is at least 3 stories tall, with a center open-air 'courtyard' where apparatus and cars are housed.

The Tara St. Station was transformed into a dance club called 'Fireworks' (BTW, save your money and go somewhere else). Sorry about the photo quality, as I am missing the top of the tower and the apparatus bays. The developer screwed up the negative.
