AFR Station No. 12 located at Arlington Muni Airport, and had their official dedication ceremony Fri. Dec. Presently, a ARFF is 'shared' with Bell Helicopter directly next door, with a new rig in the planning stages to be housed at Sta. 12. The IH rig is foam capable along with Eng. 12, a 2015 Spartan.
The Arlington Municipal Airport is a general aviation “reliever” airport, providing corporate, cargo, and recreational pilots a convenient, full-service destination. The Airport is only seven miles from Arlington’s major entertainment venues – AT&T Stadium, which hosts Cowboys football, and Globe Life Park, home to Texas Rangers Baseball.
