Sharonville, Ohio Fire Dept. recently moved into a new Station 87. The new house features 4 drive-through bays. The house will also serve as Fire Dept. HQ. It replaces a smaller, 2 bay structure. Sharonville operates 3 stations.

No pics to post at this time, but I was on the west side of Columbus on Saturday, and passed the site for the new station 10. The walls are starting to go up, and the masons were laying block even when we went past. I would have to guess the building to be completed by the end of the year. Next time I'm over there I'll get a couple shots of both stations.

Massillon Central Engine House. Built in 1893...used until 1970 when a new Station No. 1 was constructed a few blocks to the SW, to make room for a new city government center. Too bad, as there was (really) nothing wrong with old Central, with room to the east for an additional apparatus bay.
