Willows had a fleet consisting of an American LaFrance on hard rubber tires, and a GMC, White, and Ford that I guessing were all built by Van Pelt.

Dagget Volunteer Fire Department of San Bernardino County uses this station to store some out of service apparatus, drill, and company functions. When they get a stronger membership, they will run an Engine from here.

This city is headed for a disaster of biblical proportions!
What do you mean "biblical"?
What he means is Old Testament, Mr. Mayor. Real wrath of God type stuff! Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness, earthquakes, and volcanos! The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifices, dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria!

I'm not too sure how busy they are. They have two stations and they just obtained land in town to build more fuctional quarters. Although I think that it's going to take a while untill they manage to get the funds needed to get it built. Most of their apparatus was purchased second, and third hand from other neighboring agencies. They do not have an Engine Room so they park their apparatus outside in the harsh desert sun. Hopefully, They will get the new station built soon.

A look in at Baker Volunteer Fire Department of San Bernardino County's 1976 Ford/Howe 1000/1000 Engine. This Engine assists the career station that is located next door.

Baker's Career station 53 located next to the Volunteer station. Station 53 is staffed with a crew of three and run an Engine and Tac Truck from this station. While this station was being built a few years ago. The crews were running from two rented motel rooms in town with the apparatus parked outside. Before that, they ran from the prison located not far from the center of town.
