Roanoke, Virginia
Central Fire Station
When I was last in Roanoke (1999) this station still housed a ladder company in the downtown area of the city.

Norfolk, Va Fire Rescue has 15 firehouses in the city with 16 numbers... Station 5 was shut down and I don't have that date on that. Here is Station 1 which is 4 bays long I believe housing Engine 1, Ladder 1, Medic 1, Boat 1, Air 1, Battalion 4, and the Shift Commander.

NFR Station 3 houses Rescue 1, HazMat 1, and Battalion 1. This is the only station in the city with no Engine Co. Rescue 1 is the busiest Rescue Co. in the city.

NFR Station 7 houses Engine 7, Ladder 7, and Medic 7. This station is right across the street from Old Dominion University and is the back-up HazMat station.
