I Was A Vol. Firefighter In Peekskill NY. We Had A Fire House That Was All Most 200 Year Old. It Was Under A Overpass. That Was Comeing Up For Work So Thay Tryed To Move It & Turn It Into A Museum For The Dept. But It Collaspse On 8/21/08
Actually, though the quarters of Engine 295 - Ladder 144 hasn't changed too much, its location was changed considerably.The entire building pictured was moved from 14-09 149th Street to its current location of 12-49 149th Street. Unknown FDNY station from about 1915. Looks like an American LaFrance aerial on the left and a hose wagon on a Mack chassis in the right bay.
